Wink & Nod’s innovative fitted sheet sets are manufactured using internationally certified OEKO-Tek® fabric.
Long Staple Egyptian Cotton
Tossing in the bed often? Fibers made of short staple cotton can poke out of the weave, leading to a coarser, weaker fabric.
Wink & Nod uses only the best long staple cotton.
Single Ply Yarn
Multi-ply yarns are a group of weaker fibers twisted together to create a false strength. They use mostly lower-grade, shorter-staple cottons, which results in thicker, coarser and heavier threads. Single ply yarns using long-staple cotton gives the best weave.
Wink & Nod sheets are weaved on single ply yarn.
Optimal Thread Count
Thread count is the number of threads woven together in a square inch of fabric. As the thread count rises, the fabric becomes softer, denser and warmer. However, a higher thread count doesn’t necessarily mean a higher quality sheet. Optimal thread count on a single-ply yarn gives the best touch.
Wink & Nod uses optimal thread count to weave highest quality sheets.
The weave of a fabric ultimately affects how it looks and feels. Compared to other weave types, percale results in a matte finish with a cool, crisp feel.
Wink & Nod uses percale weave for the best sensation on your skin.

300 Thread Count (200 horizontal + 100 vertical single ply). To be honest thread count actually isn't the best way to measure the quality of your bedding – in fact, it's largely a marketing gimmick. The reality is that it’s not thread count but the quality and type of material that matter. Our sheets are made up of 100% long staple cotton…..( can add more…)
Your sheets will keep getting better after every wash and should be changed every week or so.
Wash on a cool or warm cycle, and line-dry naturally to preserve fibers, colors and elasticity. If you’re using a dryer, choose a low heat and low tumble cycle.
It’s also important to store your sheets correctly – storing them in plastic boxes can cause yellowing. When storing, allow your sheets to breathe to keep them at their best.
Unlike many sheet brands we don't use any artificial wrinkle-free chemicals in our sheets. Like any 100% cotton products, your sheets will naturally wrinkle but your sheets will wrinkle less and less with every wash and use, but we recommend hang drying your sheets to prevent significant wrinkling. If you prefer to use a dryer, we recommend taking your sheets out of the dryer 5 minutes before the cycle ends and hanging them to dry.
Our pillowcases are folded within our core sets so we recommend completely unpacking and unfolding all the sheets to make sure the pillowcases are in there. If we did make a mistake when packing your order, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be sure to send you a pair of pillowcases ASAP.
Our fitted sheets fit mattresses up to 8" in depth.
